(vague spoilers) it's always incest it's always fucking incest. i liked it, had that early creepypasta vibe that i like seeing in more recent stuff. it just felt super straightforward. the whole time i was waiting for these two guys to be wrong about *something* (especially since the narrator is a horror author, i was waiting for the reveal he was getting carried away in his own imagination) but nope, they just guess everything right. the inclusion of the building layouts was neat, and slowly unraveling everything wrong with it and then having it stitched back together to fit the current theory was satisfying (which is all you could really want out of your mystery novel).
